A wimpy person, someone who is soft, a pushover or weakling.

“You foolish Galatians! WHO HAS BEWITCHED YOU? …Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?” (Gal. 3:1-3)

Paul is very surprised that these believers “wimped out” so easily, he said: “I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel– which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people [inspired by Satan] are THROWING YOU INTO CONFUSION and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.” (Gal 1:6, 7)

The devil love to cause confusion among us, remember: God is NOT A GOD OF CONFUSION but of peace. (1 Corin. 14:33)

So, “If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be UNDER GOD’S CURSE!” (Gal. 1:9)

Therefore it is so very important for us to remember: “…the word of God IS ALIVE AND 1ACTIVE. Sharper than any double-edged sword…” (Heb. 4:12) 1energēs: effectual, powerful.

It is not only powerful but: All Scripture IS GODBREATHED and is useful…so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim. 3:16, 17)

So, the next time the devil tries to “wimp” you out, take the “…sword of the Spirit, which is THE WORD OF GOD.” (Eph. 6:17) and use it against the devil…

Revelation 3 and 11 says:

I AM COMING SOON. HOLD FAST WHAT YOU HAVE, SO THAT NO ONE MAY SEIZE YOUR CROWN.
