This below, could very well be your message Will. Do you know why? “…there is no respect of persons with God.” (Romans 2:11 KJV) “…God does not show favoritism.” (Romans 2:11 NIV) God wants us to know why things are recorded in the scriptures, “…everything that was written in the past was written TO TEACH US, so that through the strength we receive from the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we MIGHT HAVE HOPE.” (Romans 15:4) So, you see Will, the wonderful way God has inspired writers to write His word, was according to His will, so we could search the scripture to know the will of God FOR OUR LIVES.
When I read the Word of God Will, from the beginning, at age 29 when I got saved and knew nothing about the bible, the Lord taught me to read it as though it was written TO ME from the Lord! Will, do this with the following because that’s how the Lord inspired me to PRESENT THIS TO YOU…
“The LORD gave me this message: “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations (or whatever the Lord has called you to do Will).” “O Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” The LORD replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the LORD, have spoken!” Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put my words IN YOUR MOUTH!” (Jeremiah 1:4-9) The Lord will always be with us, He says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God MAY BE COMPLETE, THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
