WILL, THESE ARE DAVID’S PRAYERS…

O LORD, HEAR ME; For I am 1POOR and needy. YOU ARE MY GOD; SAVE YOUR SERVANT WHO TRUSTS IN YOU! Be merciful to me, O Lord, I LIFT UP MY SOUL. For You, Lord, are good, ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy. Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; In the day of my trouble I WILL CALL UPON YOU, FOR YOU WILL ANSWER ME.(Psa. 86:1-7) 1`aniy: depressed in his mind. David is asking the Lord to hear him because he is in depression and needs God to preserve his life. He reminds God that he is living holy but needs to be saved from this depression. David lifts up his soul to God to receive His mercy, knowing that the Lord will answer him. David prayed a lot – about everything. He wrote down many of his prayers, and put them to music, creating the Book of Psalms. He wrote most of the book of Psalms, which has been the prayer book of Israel and the Church for 3,000 years. David knew how to pray. We can learn some lessons about prayer from David.

It can express appreciation for who He is and what He has done, is doing and will do. I waited patiently for the LORD; And He motivated me, and brought me up out of a horrible pitMany will trust in the LORD. Many, O LORD my God, ARE YOUR WONDERFUL WORKS And Your thoughts toward us

THEY ARE MORE THAN CAN BE NUMBERED (Psa. 40:1-5)
