“Then the Lord said, “Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for THE PLACE ON WHICH YOU ARE STANDING IS HOLY GROUND.” He said also, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.” (Exodus 3:5-6)
One year at the Washington State Youth Camp, there was a mighty move of God, His presence was so strong that we all took our shoes off, after turning aside from our food still on the table and began to worship the Lord! There were many healings several campers received their calling that night, later, some of the youth and staff, went outside and saw angels watching over us!
“God said, “Certainly I WILL BE WITH YOU, and this shall be the sign to you that IT IS I WHO HAVE SENT YOU…” (Exodus 3:12).
When we receive our calling from the Lord we may be tempted, as Moses was, to say, “WHO AM I, THAT I SHOULD GO?” (Exodus 3:11)
If we are tempted to ask that question, remember, the one who is calling us is the creator and maker of all things, the “OMNISCIENT” God, He knows everything!
Remember what the Jesus told His disciples: “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. THEREFORE, PRAY EARNESTLY TO THE LORD OF THE HARVEST TO SEND OUT LABORERS INTO HIS HARVEST.” (Luke 10:2).
Let us pray, and have this wiliness along with Isaiah: “…I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “HERE I AM! SEND ME.” (Isaiah 6:8)
Let’s pray, send me Lord…Bill Stockham
