“…when you walk through fire you shall NOT BE BURNED, and the flame shall not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2) Look at this promise from the view point of the three Hebrew children with Chaldean names, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego who were thrown into the fiery furnace,
“…the furnace was exceedingly hot, the flame killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. And these three men, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose, saying, “Did we not cast three men into the fire?” They answered, “True, O king.” “Look!” he answered, “I see FOUR MEN loose, WALKING IN THE MIDST OF THE FIRE; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” (Daniel 3:22-25) When we TRUST God and DO what God has given us to do He can change our world.
Nebuchadnezzar went near the furnace, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, COME OUT.” They came from the fire. And the king’s counselors saw these, who the fire had no power; their head was not singed, and the smell of fire was not on them. Nebuchadnezzar spoke, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything against the God of these men shall be cut in pieces, because there is NO OTHER GOD WHO CAN DELIVER LIKE THIS.” (Daniel 3:26-29)
