All of these scriptures are from Colossians 2:6-10… “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so 1WALK IN HIM, ROOTED AND BUILT UP IN HIM and ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH, as you have been taught, ABOUNDING in it with thanksgiving.” 1peripateō: to regulate your life, how you conduct yourself. WILL, you want to make sure you are rooted in the teachings of the scripture regulating and conducting yourself by God’s word.
“Beware lest anyone CHEAT YOU through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” In this context, Paul is condemning philosophy which is based on clearly anti-Christian principles. In verse 4, he referred to these kinds of arguments as “deceptive,” using a Greek term which implies trickery or cheating. In every decision you make WILL, you should become used to seeking God to reveal His will to you.
“For in Him dwells ALL THE FULLNESS of the Godhead bodily; and YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.” Your completeness is in Jesus Christ and He is all the fullness of God,
SO YOU MAY COMPLETELY DEPEND ON HIM…
