“…WHEN YOU PRAY, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret WILL REWARD YOU.” (Matthew 6:6)
The word “When” is defined as “at what time” in other words, it’s not optional! Because of our extremely busy lifestyles today many think of prayer as “optional”, not having time for prayer. The devil knows the value of prayer and has been very successful in launching a campaign to steal from us the understanding of the very powerful results we will see from our prayers!
“The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY. I came that they may have life and have it ABUNDANTLY.” (John 10:10).
The word “abundant” comes from the Greek word perissos: superior, extraordinary, surpassing, uncommon. Satan’s desire is to prevent us from being superior and extraordinary Christians, which will happen “WHEN WE PRAY” because what we do in secret our Father “WILL REWARD YOU”!
This is a word I received from the Lord about the importance of our prayers: “Bill, I want you to hear and understand what I am saying to you so you can teach others. Your prayers are necessary for me to bless those you love, the more prayers you pray the more blessings will come. As I told you Bill, YOUR PRAYERS ARE INCENSE that goes into my vial of blessings to be poured out. I mix my grace and power with this incense and pour it out on the ones you are covering with prayer. Small prayers provide a little incense and will produce little blessings; greater prayers will provide greater incense which will provide greater blessings. I have poured out many blessings Bill, many! Continue to give me what I need from you to bless your prayer family! Be faithful continue!”
So, let’s be about praying and expecting “abundant life” to flow…
