First of all, life is the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death. Man’s unique opportunity in life is his ability to CONNECT WITH and HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH AS A SERVANT AND FRIEND of the Lord God Almighty. Unfortunately Satan messed up that plan when he convinced man to serve him. As a result man was removed from his place in paradise and started the human race in sin. “…the LORD God sent Adam out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.” (Gen. 3:23-24)
Several years went by and again, “…men began to call on the name of the LORD.” (Gen. 4:26) Several more years went by and, “…the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that EVERY INTENT OF THE THOUGHTS OF HIS HEART WAS ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and GOD WAS GRIEVED in His heart.” (Gen. 6:5-6) God was planning to do a “reboot” on His creation and He found Noah and, “…NOAH FOUND GRACE in the eyes of the LORD. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. NOAH WALKED WITH GOD.” (Gen. 6:8-9) God gave Noah very specific plans to build a huge boat (the Ark) AMY. All of God’s creation, by twos, would be brought to the ark and they all would be saved to start over!
God instructed Noah to GO INTO ALL THE WORLD AND OCCUPY IT but, some of them said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city (Babel), and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be SCATTERED ABROAD OVER THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH.” (Gen. 11:4) Here is the problem with Israel trying to complete their mission. We see at least 38 incidents very similar to this: “Nevertheless you would not go up, but REBELLED AGAINST THE COMMAND OF THE LORD your God…” (Deut. 1:26)
OK, just how is this all going to be fulfilled? The nation of Israel, who still have not accepted Jesus as the Messiah will accept Him in the end, “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and HIS WIFE (Jew and Gentile) has made herself ready.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb…” (Rev. 19:7-9)
