“Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the Kingdom of God IS NOT SOMETHING THAT CAN BE OBSERVED, they can’t say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘There it is!’ You see, THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU.” (Luke 17:20-21)
Jesus Christ is the King of King’s and Lord of Lord’s of the Kingdom of God. It is God’s Kingdom and it is only by Jesus that we may enter this Kingdom. So, how do we enter the Kingdom? Jesus said: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father EXCEPT THROUGH ME.” (John 14:6)
Then later Jesus said: “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God UNLESS THEY ARE BORN AGAIN.” (John 3:3)
So, what will we experience in the Kingdom of God?
“For the kingdom of God is…a matter of…RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT… and POWER.” (Rom. 14:17, 20)
What can keep us out of the Kingdom of God?
“…walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh…The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that THOSE WHO LIVE LIKE THIS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.” (Gal. 5:16-21)
THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND; REPENT AND BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL.
