When asking what God wants me to do, remember we were created IN GOD’S IMAGE as human beings to COMMUNICATE and WALK IN HARMONY with Him. “God created man IN HIS OWN IMAGE (tselem: likeness, similarity), in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (no 3rd choice) (Genesis 1:27). The LORD GOD formed us by hand of dust from the ground and breathed into our nostrils the BREATH OF LIFE; and man became a living soul. When God breathed into us, He breathed HIS DNA into our being. Think about that, we were created with GOD CHARACTERISTICS in us and also with A DESIRE TO HAVE SO MUCH MORE of God in our lives.
When Jesus, God the Son, was asked what the MOST IMPORTANT THING was we as humans could do, He said, “…you SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL your HEART, SOUL, MIND and STRENGTH.’ The second (most important) is this: ‘You shall LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR as yourself.’” (Mark 12:30-31) Why do you suppose He answered like this? Because “Beloved, let us love one another, for LOVE IS FROM GOD, and whoever loves has been BORN OF GOD AND KNOWS GOD. Anyone WHO DOES NOT LOVE DOES NOT KNOW GOD, BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE.” (1 John 4:7-8)
So, if you hate someone do not say you are a Christian because if you DO NOT love one another, you DO NOT KNOW GOD. “If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, HE IS A LIAR; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen CANNOT LOVE GOD whom he has not seen.” (1 John 4:20) “as for…ALL LIARS, their portion will be IN THE LAKE THAT BURNS WITH FIRE AND SULFUR, which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)
I really seek God about what to write each day and do my best to listen carefully because I LOVE YOU and do not want anyone to be LEFT BEHIND. If someone has told you that as long as you gave your heart to the Lord it does not matter what you do, Remember WHAT GOD SAYS, if anyone says, “I love God, and hates his brother, HE IS A LIAR”
THE LORD IS COMING SOON, MAKE SURE YOUR HEART IS RIGHT WITH GOD…
