“In the way of RIGHTEOUSNESS IS LIFE (chay: literal Hebrew translation “living souls”), and in its pathway THERE IS NO DEATH.” (Proverbs 12:28)
“…the excellence of the KNOWLEDGE (gnōsis: direct revelation from God) of Christ Jesus my Lord…that I may gain Christ and BE FOUND IN HIM, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, THE RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS FROM GOD BY FAITH;” (Philippians 3:8-9) This happens to us when we are “saved”, “born again”, “a new creation in Christ.” Because, we are not, “…conformed to this world, but we are TRANSFORMED (metamorphoō: to be miraculously changed into a new form) by the renewing of your mind, that we may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2) “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is A NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things HAVE BECOME NEW.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
How does this happen? One of the criminals said if you are really Christ get us down from here, the other said, “Don’t you fear God, we are punished JUSTLY…this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, REMEMBER ME when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE.” (Luke 23:40-43) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE, IF WE DIE SAVED, WE BREATH OUR LAST BREATH HERE AND OUR NEXT BREATH IN HEAVEN.
