There was a lamb man who was carried to gate called “Beautiful” each day to beg, Peter saw him and said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but WHAT I DO HAVE I GIVE YOU. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” (Acts 3:6) And of course, he did…What else can we expect? “…enable your servants to SPEAK YOUR WORD WITH GREAT BOLDNESS. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and SPOKE THE WORD OF GOD BOLDLY.“ (Acts 4:29-31) We are just getting started! “The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people…they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, MORE AND MORE MEN AND WOMEN BELIEVED IN THE LORD and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least PETER’S SHADOW MIGHT FALL ON SOME OF THEM as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and ALL OF THEM WERE HEALED.“ (Acts 5:12-16) How did they do these things? Jesus told them to: “…wait [DO NOTHING. AND EXPECT SOMETHING TO HAPPEN] for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT…YOU WILL RECEIVE POWER when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:4-5, 8)
