“…BE ALERT (grēgoreuō: give strict attention to), because you DON’T KNOW on what day your Lord will return…you, too, must be ready because the Son of Man will return when you LEAST EXPECT HIM.” (Matt. 24:42-44) When the disciples asked Jesus about the second coming, “He said to them: “It is NOT FOR YOU TO KNOW the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.” (Acts 1:6-7)
Here are some things we do know, at the second coming, Christ’s “…feet will stand on the MOUNT OF OLIVES, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west…” (Zech. 14:4) He is coming back to Israel His chosen ones! Israel was removed from their homeland TWICE “It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again THE SECOND TIME To recover the remnant of His people who are left…” (Isa. 11:11)
The Jews were first taken into captivity by King Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon about 607BC for 70 years, then in 70AD General Titus completely destroyed the temple, killed over one million Jews and scattered the remaining Jews all over the world.
“Can a country be born in a day or A NATION BE BROUGHT FORTH IN A MOMENT? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children. Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the LORD.” (Isa. 66:7-9) April 12,1945, President Franklin D. Roosevelt dies in Warm Spring, Georgia; Harry S. Truman becomes the thirty-third President of the United States. Roosevelt was ANTI JEW he was AGAINST Israel becoming a nation. Like Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon who took the nation of Israel captive, God had plans for their release, According to legend, the grandfather of Cyrus, Astyages (ass two-gez) the King of Medea, had a dream that one day his grandson would rise up and take his throne from him. After consulting with his magi, he charged one of his generals, Harpagus, with taking Cyrus into the wilderness and KILLING HIM. But Harpagus did not have the heart to kill the baby Cyrus, so he arranged to leave him with a peasant shepherd family in Persia, whose baby just died, where he would be raised as a sheep herder, unaware of his royal heritage. This is what God says about Cyrus 150 years before He is born. “When I say of Cyrus, ‘He is my SHEPHERD,’ he will certainly do as I say. He will command, ‘REBUILD JERUSALEM’; he will say, ‘RESTORE THE TEMPLE.’” (Isaiah 44:28) In 538 BC King Cyrus made a public declaration granting the Jews the right to return to Judah and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem. But this was the decree from King Artaxerxes, “I decree that any of the people of Israel may volunteer to return to Jerusalem. We also commission you to take with you silver and gold, which we are freely presenting as an offering to the God of Israel who lives in Jerusalem.” (Ezra 7:13-15)
