First, let us look at what the Lord says about change, “…I am the LORD, I DO NOT CHANGE…” (Mal. 3:6) The Psalmist says this about the Lord, “Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. THEY WILL PERISH, but YOU WILL ENDURE; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed. But YOU ARE THE SAME, And Your years will have no end.” (Psa. 102:25-27)
This is one of the first great Biblical statements of God’s IMMUTABILITY (unchangeable). Simply stated, it means God is not possible of change. He is neither capable of nor susceptible to change. And that makes sense. Any change usually makes things better or worse. God cannot change for the better because He is already perfect. And He cannot change for the worse, for then He would be imperfect and would therefore no longer be God. What this means for us is that we can always RELY ON GOD, because He will always be consistent! “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and WILL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD?” (Num. 23:19) Remember this about Jesus, “Jesus Christ is THE SAME yesterday, today, and FOREVER.” (Heb. 13:8)
So, how are we (as man) doing? Well when it comes to our gender the word of God states, “When God created human beings, He made them to be like Himself. He created them MALE and FEMALE, and He blessed them and called them “human.” (Gen. 5:1-2) God created two genders, what has man done with that? According to man, there are many different gender identities, including male, female, transgender, gender neutral, non-binary, agender, pangender, genderqueer, two-spirit, third gender, and all, none or a combination of these. Teachers in Charlotte, North Carolina, have been advised to stop calling the children “boys and girls,” according to a training presentation on transgender issues.
Another modern issue is “There Are No Absolute Truths, Truth Is Relative” The devil loves this because, “…the devil…is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44) Jesus made this profound statement, “I am the way and THE TRUTH and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) Jesus also made this statement, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in SPIRIT and TRUTH.” (John 4:24) Samuel the prophet was inspired to say, “…now, O Lord GOD, You are God, and YOUR WORDS ARE TRUE…” (2 Sam. 7:28)
THEY ARE NOT JUST TRUE, THEY ARE ABSOLUTLY TRUE…
