“Thus says the LORD, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: “Ask Me of things to come concerning My sons; And concerning the work of My hands, you command Me. I have MADE THE EARTH, And CREATED MAN ON IT. I—My hands—stretched out the heavens, And all their host I have commanded. I have raised him up in righteousness, And I will DIRECT ALL HIS WAYS; He shall build My city And let My exiles go free, Not for price nor reward,” Says the LORD of hosts…Israel shall be saved BY THE LORD With an everlasting salvation; You shall not be ashamed or disgraced Forever and ever. For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain, Who formed it to be inhabited: “I AM THE LORD, AND THERE IS NO OTHER.” (Isaiah 45: 11-13, 17-18)
God can do whatever He pleases, there is nothing we can do about it!
Peter says, “Most importantly, I want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires. They will say, “What happened to the promise that Jesus is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created.” They deliberately forget that God made the heavens long ago by the word of his command, and he brought the earth out from the water and surrounded it with water. Then he used the water to destroy the ancient world with a mighty flood. And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, WHEN UNGODLY PEOPLE WILL BE DESTROYED.” (2 Peter 3:3-7)
