WHAT CAN WE DO FOR…

“…God, who is rich in mercy, because of HIS GREAT LOVE WITH WHICH HE LOVED US, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ JesusFor BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED THROUGH FAITH, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. FOR WE ARE HIS WORKMANSHIP, created in Christ Jesus FOR GOOD WORKS, which God prepared beforehand that WE SHOULD WALK IN THEM. (Eph. 2: 4-6, 8-10) What does Jesus really want from us as believers? This is a question that many of us Christians, concern ourselves with daily, because we want to serve God and live a Christian life. However many of us as followers get caught up in other aspects of our lives and focus on our careers, relationships, finances and other major choices over doing all that Jesus wants us to do. Jesus cares about those areas of our lives as well; however there are actions we SHOULD BE TAKING THAT HONOR THE LORDS WILL. We should be SUBMITTING OURSELVES TO THE THINGS JESUS ASKED OF US in the Bible and DO SO DAILY. What Jesus wants us to do right now IS WRITTEN OUT EXPLICITLY FOR US (as we see) so that we understand EXACTLY HOW TO HONOR JESUS CHRIST FULLY.

As we see, we should, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION, WITH THANKSGIVING, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which SURPASSES (goes beyond) all understanding, will guard YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS through Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:6-7) Jesus turned many deniers into Christians through His patience, love, and willingness to speak with others. WE SHOULD WANT TO DO THE SAME. Through living a life as a Christian, we are already showing others what it means to love. We must not be afraid to take that further and share the Bible with those we know. Even people who are strongly against the faith have a chance of being saved, because, Jesus said, “The things which are impossible with men ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD.” (Luke 18:27)
