“…a man had a demon, he cried out with a loud voice, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!” But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and COME OUT of him!” And when the demon had thrown him in their midst, it came out of him and did not hurt him. Then they were all amazed and spoke among themselves, saying, “WHAT A WORD THIS IS! For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and THEY COME OUT. And the report about Him went out into EVERY PLACE in the surrounding region.” (Luke 4:33-37) This was such an amazing deliverance TOMMY, that everyone heard about it!
Now Jesus made this amazing announcement, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who BELIEVES (pisteuō: acknowledgment a fact) in Me, the works that I do HE WILL DO ALSO; and GREATER WORKS than these HE WILL DO, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I WILL DO, that the Father MAY BE GLORIFIED in the Son. If you ask ANYTHING in My name, I WILL DO IT.” (John 14:12-14)
JESUS IS LETTING US KNOW THAT OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS GLORIFIED WHEN WE DO THESE GREATER WORKS…
