Worship is to honor with EXTRAVAGANT LOVE and EXTREME SUBMISSION to The Lord God Almighty.
True worship is defined by the priority we place on WHO GOD IS IN OUR LIVES and WHERE GOD IS ON OUR LIST OF PRIORITIES. True worship is a matter of the heart expressed through a lifestyle of holiness. Therefore, if our lifestyle does not express the beauty of holiness through an extravagant or exaggerated love for God, and we do not live in extreme or excessive submission to God, then we must make worship an inflexible priority in our lives. “For great is the LORD and MOST WORTHY OF PRAISE…SPLENDOR AND MAJESTY ARE BEFORE HIM; strength and glory are in His sanctuary.” (Psalms 96:4-6) “For the LORD is the great God, the great King…Come, LET US BOW DOWN IN WORSHIP, let us KNEEL BEFORE THE LORD OUR MAKER; for He is our God and we are the people of his pasture…” (Psalms 95:3-7)
It’s one thing to worship and praise God at church; it’s quite another to go out into real world and worship Him through our daily obedience. “Samuel said, “Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in OBEYING THE VOICE OF THE LORD? Behold, TO OBEY IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE, and TO LISTEN than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22)
