“O LORD, YOU HAVE EXAMINED (chaqar: to examine intimately) MY HEART AND KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT ME. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away, you know EVERYTHING I DO. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD.“ ((Psalms 139:1-4).
There is nothing about me that is hidden from you Lord, you have PERFECT KNOWLEDGE of everything about me. “You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know when I go out to work and when I come back home. You know exactly how I live. You are all around me. You are behind me and in front of me. You hold me in your power. I’M AMAZED AT HOW WELL YOU KNOW ME. It’s more than I can understand.” (Psalms 139:2-6)
“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before He made the world, GOD LOVED US AND CHOSE US IN CHRIST to be holy and without fault in His eyes.” (Ephesians 1:3-4) Jesus intended us to live Holy before Him, but we chose to live in sin because “…all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) As our basic identity is transferred from being IN ADAM to being IN CHRIST, that GLORY–IMAGE OF CHRIST is decisively (if not fully) REINSTATED IN US, as Paul goes on to say, “We know that IN ALL THINGS God works for the good of those who love Him. He appointed us to be saved in keeping with His purpose. God planned that when He chose us we would become like His Son. In that way, Christ will be the first and most honored among many brothers. And GOD HAS PLANNED FOR US TO BE SAVED.” (Romans 8:28-30)
SO, THAT IS GOD’S PLAN BUT WE HAVE TO SUBMIT TO IT AND ASK FORGIVENESS FOR OUR SINS…
