“I have been crucified with Christ; it is NO LONGER I who live, but CHRIST LIVES IN ME; and the life which I NOW LIVE in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and GAVE HIMSELF FOR AMY.” (Gal. 2:20)
Our death in Christ means that the old ME, the old SELF, the old SIN NATURE – the OLD MAN, died in Christ, at Calvary when Jesus died on the Cross. The old ‘ME‘ died at the Cross and severed all the connections we had with our old, Adamic sin nature. By faith, We are part of a NEW CREATION, in Christ, which means that death no longer has power over us – nor does sin, or Satan, or the Law, for we are dead to sin, dead to the Law, dead to self, and dead to Satan. BUT while we live in this fallen body, our sinful nature lusts against our new life in Christ, BUT we are no longer a slave to sin and under the curse of the Law, because Christ has SET US FREE! Hallelujah!
Thank God I am free, free, free from this world of sin,
Washed in the blood of Jesus, I’ve been born again;
Hallelujah, I’m saved, saved, saved by His wonderful grace.
I’m so glad that I found out
He would bring me out and SHOW ME THE WAY.
