[We are GOD’S little children…]
“…Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for OF SUCH IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.” (Matt. 19:14)
[He is our Father!]
“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, WHEREBY WE CRY, ABBA, FATHER.” (Rom. 8:15)
[Yes again, we are His children!]
“The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that WE ARE THE CHILDREN [a child needing constant care] OF GOD:” (Rom. 8:16) “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.” (Eph. 5:1) “MY LITTLE CHILDREN [an infant needing even more care], of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.” (Gal. 4:19)
[Our attitude as we start each day! We don’t know (and may never know) what we are facing in the next minute or hour or day – our Abba Father does. When we start our day, we need to realize that we (as children needing constant care) are not sufficient of ourselves WE DESPERATELY NEED OUR ABBA FATHER FOR OUR SUFFICIENCY (The state of being enough). As a child, what do we have to offer to edify the Kingdom of God? What should our attitude be as we begin each day?]
[I need to acknowledge that I am poor in spirit that MY WORTH TO GOD IS IN HOW I ALLOW HIM TO BE IN MY LIFE TODAY.]
“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for THEIRS IS the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 5:3)
[I must mourn about yesterday’s failures and unbelief and NOT REPEAT them again today.]
“Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.” (Matt. 5:4)
[I must approach God IN MEEKNESS for Jesus admonished us to:]
“…learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart…” (Matt. 11:29) “Blessed are the meek: FOR THEY SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH.” (Matt. 5:5)
[We must start each day HUNGRY FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.]
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: FOR THEY SHALL BE FILLED.” (Matt. 5:6)
[God has been so merciful to us so today we must SHOW MERCY.]
“Blessed are the merciful (compassionate): FOR THEY SHALL OBTAIN MERCY.” (Matt. 5:7)
[We must desire to see God at work IN US today.] “Blessed are the pure in heart: FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD.” (Matt. 5:8)
[It makes no difference what position we may hold, how many we may ‘rule’ over, what kind of degrees we may have earned and how much wealth we may have acquired; we are the ‘children’ of the Lord God Almighty!]
Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that:
HE IS OUR ABBA FATHER–WE ARE HIS CHILDREN – ALWAYS!
