“YOU ALONE ARE GOD. You have made the skies and the heavens, the earth and the seas, and EVERYTHING IN THEM. (You did this all for us); and all the angels of heaven worship you.” (Nehemiah 9:8) “God decided long ago TO ADOPT US AS HIS CHILDREN. He did it because of what Jesus Christ has done. It pleased God to do it.” (Ephesians 1:5) “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but YOU RECEIVED THE SPIRIT OF ADOPTION by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD, and if children, then heirs (klēronomos: one who receives his allotted possession by right of sonship)—heirs of God and JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST…” (Romans 8:14-17)
How will we bless God, we are so weak! “…the Spirit also HELPS IN OUR WEAKNESSES. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but THE SPIRIT HIMSELF MAKES INTERCESSION (huperentugchanō: The Spirit prays on our behalf by groanings in which He does not use words. We pray about the numerous life’s struggles, the Spirit works in close coordination with our prayers; yet the groanings are distinctly His own, in caring empathy, to secure what is best for us at God’s throne) FOR US with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Romans 8:26) Not only does the Holy Spirit help us, but He will also TEACH us all things and will REMIND us of everything Jesus said to us. He will fill us completely with JOY AND PEACE because we trust in Him. Then we will overflow with CONFIDENT HOPE through the power of the Holy Spirit.
