“Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; STOP DOING WRONG. LEARN TO DO RIGHT…Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, THEY SHALL BE AS WHITE AS SNOW; though they are red as crimson, THEY SHALL BE LIKE WOOL.” (Isa. 1:16-18)
[Sin is corrupting to the soul. Our call from our Abba Father is to wash ourselves from our sin by REPENTING of our sin and TURNING from sin to God. We must put away not only our evil actions which are before the eyes of the world, by renouncing the gross acts of sin, and that which is before God’s eyes, the roots and habits of sin, that are in our hearts; these must be crushed and put to death! No matter how awful our lives may be, THE BLOOD OF JESUS WILL MAKE US WHITE AS SNOW!]
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but TO SAVE THE WORLD THROUGH HIM.” (John 3:16-17)
[As positively and passionately as our Lord Jesus could be He spoke these words to us: “Verily, verily, I say unto thee. I am the Amen, and the Amen: I the faithful and true witness.” The matter is settled permanently that except a man BE BORN AGAIN he cannot see the kingdom of God! FIRST, we must live in a new life. Birth is the beginning of life; TO BE BORN AGAIN IS TO BEGIN ANEW. We must not think to patch up the old building, but begin from the foundation. SECONDLY, we must have a new nature, new principles, new affections, and new aims. We must be born anōthen, which signifies both denuo – again, and desuper – from above!]
“This is the verdict: LIGHT HAS COME INTO THE WORLD, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But WHOEVER LIVES BY THE TRUTH COMES INTO THE LIGHT, so that it may be seen plainly that WHAT THEY HAVE DONE HAS BEEN DONE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD.“ (John 3:19-21)
[Jesus Christ has come as the light of the world! We need no longer to be is darkness!!!]
“In him [Jesus] was life, and that life WAS THE LIGHT OF ALL MANKIND.” (John 1:4)
[We needed this light because we were in the darkness of sin!]
“He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD— children born not of natural descent…but BORN OF GOD.” (John 1:11-13)
