“…as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, SO WALK IN HIM, ROOTED AND BUILT UP IN HIM, AND ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving…For in Him dwells ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. And YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the Head of all principality and power…” (Col.2:6-10)
So, how do we keep walking in Him?
- We received Jesus by simple faith in who He is and what He did for us on the cross – so keep walking that way.
- We received Jesus by grace, through faith – so keep walking that way.
- We received Jesus humbly knowing we were a sinner who needed to be rescued – so keep walking that way.
- We received Jesus believing His word is true – so keep walking that way.
- We received Jesus because the Holy Spirit did something wonderfully awesome in us; So, let’s keep walking that way and keep ourselves open to the Holy Spirit’s perfect leading.
- That is what makes us complete in Jesus Christ our Lord…
