WAITING FOR THE PROMISE…

After His resurrection, “…Jesus began TO DO AND TEACH…and also presented Himself AFTER HIS SUFFERING by MANY INFALLIBLE (clear undeniable) PROOFS, being seen by them DURING FORTY DAYS andHe commanded them not to depart, but to WAIT FOR THE PROMISE OF THE FATHER, “John truly baptized with water, but YOU SHALL BE BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRITYOU SHALL RECEIVE POWER when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and YOU SHALL BE WITNESSES to Meto the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:1-5, 8)

The God we serve is a God of supernatural miracles. Jesus promised to us before leaving earth that by His name and through the power of the Holy Spirit, WE WOULD DO ACTS OF WONDER THAT WOULD SURPASS EVEN WHAT HE HAD DONE. MOST ASSUREDLY (definitely), I say to you, HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME, the works that I do HE WILL DO ALSO; and GREATER WORKS THAN THESE HE WILL DO…” (John 14:12) Jesus, clearly and undeniable proved Himself to His disciples, stating to them that the Father promised they would RECEIVE POWER to do the GREATER MIRACLES He said we would do!

“…through the hands of the apostles MANY SIGNS AND WONDERS WERE DONE among the peopleBELIEVERS WERE INCREASINGLY ADDED TO THE LORD, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least THE SHADOW OF PETER passing by might fall on some of themand THEY WERE ALL HEALED. (Acts 5:12-16)

WE NEED TO PRAY EARNESTLY THAT GOD WILL WORK MIRACLES THROUGH US
