“…TO THE WICKED GOD SAYS…you hate discipline, And you cast My words behind you. When you did these things and I KEPT SILENT, you thought I was exactly like you. But I now arraign [charge] you and set my accusations before you. “Consider this, YOU WHO FORGET GOD, OR I WILL TEAR YOU TO PIECES, with no one to rescue you…” (Psa. 50:16-22)
The Lord God Almighty said, “You have done all these ungodly and horrible things and I have kept silent about it and that caused you to think that I’m ok with it!” God goes on to say “LOOK OUT because I will tear you in pieces if you do not repent…Very harsh words from such a loving God. The problem is that God did not create His awesome heavenly home for the ungodly but for: “Those who are victorious WILL INHERIT ALL THIS, and I will be their God and they will be my children. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will have their part in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the SECOND DEATH.” (Rev 21:7-8)
SO, WHAT SHOULD WE, AS CHRISTIANS DO? “…sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for THE HOPE THAT IS IN YOU, with meekness and fear…” (1 Peter 3:15)
WE MUST LOVE, RESPECT AND HONOR OUR HEAVENLY FATHER…
