“Blessed be the LORD God…Who only does wondrous (pala’: things high and marvelous) things! And blessed be His glorious name forever! And let the whole earth be FILLED WITH HIS GLORY. Amen and Amen.” (Psalms 72:18-19) This is a simple but powerful prayer for spiritual illumination, asking God by His Spirit to remove the scales from our natural, spiritually blind eyes, that we might SEE and RECEIVE supernatural truth. Spiritual truth cannot be captured in a natural way, but requires a supernatural means.
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may BE WITH YOU FOREVER; that is the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but YOU KNOW HIM BECAUSE HE ABIDES (menō: to be present) WITH YOU AND WILL BE IN YOU.” (John 14:16-17) The Spirit of Truth will be living in us TOMMY, to reveal truth to us and help us to WALK IN THAT TRUTH. Jesus said, “…to those who believed in Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH WILL MAKE YOU FREE.” (John 8:31-32)
