“Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— in the HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE, WHICH GOD, WHO DOES NOT LIE, PROMISED BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF TIME...” (Tit. 1:1-4)
“…nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37) Except for one thing, “…it is impossible for God to lie.” (Heb. 6:18) God made a promise, before time began, that He would provide for His people, whom He would create, knowledge of the truth. What is this truth? THE PROMISE OF ETERNAL LIFE! Job expressed it like this, “If a man dies, will he live again? All the days of my hard work I WILL WAIT for the time when you give me new life.” (Job 14:14) Then of course a favorite passage, “…everyone who believes in Jesus can live with God forever. God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son. Anyone who believes in Him will not die but WILL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.” (John 3:15-16)
