Our language comes from our desire to move to have a real connection with one another. Words by themselves are lifeless, they’re inert. They’re nothing more than symbols. So much of our experience is intangible; so much of what we perceive cannot be adequately expressed. And because of that, when we communicate with our heavenly Father, and we feel we’ve connected, that we’re understood—IT’S HAVING REAL SPIRITUAL COMMUNICATION WITH our LORD. So, let’s communicate with Him about spiritual gifts a wonderful way to connect with God. “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant…Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corin. 12:1, 3) Are there wonderful things we may be missing in our being baptized with the Holy Spirit?
“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God WHO WORKS ALL IN ALL. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given TO EACH ONE FOR THE PROFIT OF ALL…” (1 Corin. 12:4-7)
“But one and the same Spirit works all these things, DISTRIBUTING TO EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY AS HE WILLS. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, SO ALSO IS CHRIST…now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased…Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.” (1 Corin. 12:11-12, 27)
“EARNESTLY DESIRE THE BEST GIFTS…” (1 Corin. 12:31)
