“I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? OK, so, what should we do then? “…SEEK FIRST (zēteō: before anything else, devote serious effort or energy to) the KINGDOM OF GOD and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:25, 33)
Does the Lord really want to look out for us? “…my God shall supply ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19) In this verse we see our needs are met, but do you know God loves you so much that IT GIVES HIM PLEASURE to give you even the desires of your heart? “DELIGHT (ʿānaḡ: bring exquisite pleasure to) yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. COMMIT (gâlal: have confidence, to roll away our troubles) your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, And He shall BRING IT TO PASS.” (Psalms 37:4-5) “…humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, CASTING ALL YOUR CARE upon Him, for HE CARES FOR YOU.” (1 Peter 5:6-7)
