Korah, and two hundred and fifty princes in a jealous rage, gathered together against Moses saying, You are taking too much upon yourself, we want to do more, “Moses said: “By this you shall know that the LORD has sent me…for I have not done them of my own will. If these men die naturally…then the LORD has not sent me. But if the LORD creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and SWALLOWS THEM UP with all that belongs to them, then you will understand that these men have REJECTED THE LORD.” Now it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them, and the earth opened its mouth AND SWALLOWED THEM UP, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods.” (Num. 16:28-32) After this the congregation turned against Moses and the Lord sent a plague amongst them and 14,700 MORE DIED.
Ok, think about this, God created us to obey Him, to worship Him and most important of all to love Him with EVERYTHING THAT IS IN US. Then He created everything that exists for us to rule over and as He did with Adam and Eve, had daily personal visits with them. We know what happened then and what happens every time God tries to encounter and interact with man. The devil interferes and WE ALLOW IT!!! We must STOP ALLOWING Satan from messing with our LOYALTY WITH GOD!!! “Behold, I give you the authority…over ALL the power of the enemy…” (Luke 10:19). In keeping the greatest commandment, the love relationship between God and man is, hesed: steadfast love, faithful love or LOYAL LOVE. That is why Jesus gave us a new commandment: “A NEW COMMANDMENT I give to you, that you love one another; AS I HAVE LOVED you, that you also love one another. By this ALL WILL KNOW that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35)
