WILL, you may be asking the Lord, What do you expect from me Lord? What do you want me to do? Where do you want me to go? “YOU MAKE KNOWN TO ME THE PATH OF LIFE;” (Psa. 16:11) When does the Lord make his plans for us, WILL? “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your BOOK BEFORE ONE OF THEM CAME TO BE.” (Psa. 139:16) Ok, but will we enjoy what the Lord has planned for us? “…you will FILL ME WITH JOY in your presence, with ETERNAL PLEASURES at your right hand.” (Psa. 16:11)
When we get on the path the Lord has for us we will be filled with joy as we fulfill the Lord’s will in our life. Not only joy WILL, but eternal pleasures as we commit to His plan for us… “SHOW ME YOUR WAYS, LORD, TEACH ME YOUR PATHS. GUIDE ME IN YOUR TRUTH AND TEACH ME, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” (Psa. 25:4-5). Our prayer should be Lord, “show me, guide me, teach me, for my hope is in you! Finally, we should be desperately seeking to, “TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART; do not DEPEND ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING. Seek His will in all you do, and HE WILL SHOW YOU WHICH PATH TO TAKE.” (Prov. 3:5-6) WILL, man is made up of body, soul and spirit. The body part is the “vehicle” part of us that allows us to get around here on earth. The soul part is the “us” the who we are. The spirit part is how we communicate with God, how we love Him, how we form an intimacy with Him. How He reveals things to us. So, Solomon teaches us that we trust with and listen with our “spirit man.” We do not depend with our “soul man.” What we need to learn WILL, is the devil will tempt us to trust in our education, our “skilled intellect,” our soul part. We must not give in to that temptation and go down the wrong path. The Lord will lead you where He wants you to go, TRUST HIM!!!
