Kim, I was just praying for you and the Lord reminded me that yesterday I planned to send you an encouraging word and that “thought” just disappeared somewhere! Well, the Lord Just reminded me again so now I’ll obey.
Please imagine with me that a new, one-of-a-kind work of art painted by Picasso, Van Gogh or Monet has been found. Just think about how far people would travel – from all over the world – just to get a glimpse of this masterpiece. How much they would pay to get access to the museum hosting the artwork, and how many would long to get close to it to examine its full beauty.
Kim, this is just a tiny reflection of the amount God cares for YOU! He made you unique, and one-of-a-kind. No one has ever or will ever walk the earth who is exactly the same as you. You are his masterpiece; made in His image and called to live out your God-given identity as His daughter.
“But now the Lord who created you, Kim, says: Don’t be afraid, for I have ransomed you; I have called you by name; YOU ARE MINE. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up—the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:1-2)
The Lord says, “I HAVE WRITTEN YOUR NAME ON THE PALM OF MY HAND.” (Isaiah 49:16)
