Jesus said, “I am giving you a NEW COMMANDMENT: LOVE ONE ANOTHER. JUST AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, you should love each other. Your love for one another WILL PROVE TO THE WORLD that you are my disciples.” (John 13:34-35) It’s not the healings, it not the miraculous things that happen through us, it’s not the powerful messages we preach – it is THE GODLY LOVE that is manifest in our ministry. Jesus said OUR DEMONSTRATION OF GODLY LOVE, “will PROVE to the world” that we are Christ’s disciples!
This is such an important trait for God that I believe when we obey this proclamation Jesus made about our loving one another, God pours out His spirit MANIFESTING HIS LOVING PRESENCE IN A VERY REAL WAY so that people will know IT IS TRUE.
“IF you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you so that MY JOY MAY BE IN YOU, and that your joy may be MADE FULL. “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. “Greater love has NO ONE THAN THIS, that one LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS. “You are My friends IF YOU DO what I command you.” (John 15:10-14)
