“Call to Me, and I WILL ANSWER YOU, and SHOW YOU GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS, which YOU DO NOT KNOW.” (Jer. 33:3) AMY, When we call on the Lord He will,
- ANSWER US: “…the answer of the tongue is FROM THE LORD.” (Prov. 16:1) “He shall call upon Me, and I WILL ANSWER HIM; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” (Psa. 91:15) “You shall call, and I will answer You…” (Job 14:15) Please teach us to listen Lord!!!
- SHOW US GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS: God declares Himself to Jeremiah by reminding him that He was the all-powerful God who created and formed great and mighty “In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David A BRANCH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (Jesus); He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In those days Judah will be saved, And Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” (Jer. 33:15-16)
- WHAT WE DO NOT KNOW: God is about to do the things we do not know, things we need to remember that He does the work of purging first before He brings about the work of redemption. God wants to do the great and mighty! Call unto Him. He will answer you. Let’s get ready to be amazed. And get ready to worship Him like we’ve never worshiped Him before. But we must be obedient!!!
“Then the men DID NOT ASK COUNSEL OF THE LORD.” (Josh. 9:14) “..when the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and Ai, they went and PRETENDED to be ambassadors. And they took old sacks, old wineskins, old and patched sandals, and old garments on themselves; and all the bread of their provision was dry and moldy.” (Josh. 9:3-5) The children of Gibeon deceived Israel so they would no be cleaned out, Israel could have sought the Lord BUT THEY DID NOT…Remember what the Lord said, “call unto me…”
