The Spirit of God, brought to the hand of Paul this time, speaking not to the people of Israel but TO THE CHURCH OF GOD: “…Christ is the end (the “end result, or purpose) of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.” (Rom. 10:4) God’s Word is not a puzzle AMY. We don’t have to go up to the heaven or over the sea to find it. We don’t have to become a professor of theology to understand it. Righteousness of faith speaks in this way…”The word is near you; it is IN YOUR MOUTH and HEART,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you DECLARE (announce) with your mouth, “JESUS IS LORD,” and BELIEVE in your heart that God RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, you WILL BE SAVED. For it is with your heart that YOU BELIEVE and are justified, and it is with your mouth that YOU PROFESS (confess) your faith and ARE SAVED.” (Rom. 10:8-10)
Why is it so important for us to understand? Because the death count is now 72,769, about 4,500 people are dying each day. My promise to you is that I’m not trying to sensationalize this but to AWAKEN US to the fact that people are passing along out of this life without having Jesus in their hearts. So, what will happen? “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, He will separate the people one from another…He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance…Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, YOU DID FOR ME.’ “Then He will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you DID NOT DO FOR ME.’ “Then they will GO AWAY TO ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, but THE RIGHTEOUS TO ETERNAL LIFE.” (Matt. 25:31-46) We must pray for those who do not know Jesus remember,
