And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because THE SPIRIT INTERCEDES FOR GOD’S PEOPLE in accordance with the will of God…IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?…For I am convinced that (nothing) will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom 8:26-27, 31, 37-39) 1huperentugchanō: taking hold of God’s will and refusing to let go until His will comes to pass.
This makes me think of a dear brother, Jim Kittrell and our trip to Florida several years ago. His mother had two pit bulls and we would throw a large stick and the dog would fetch it and bring it back, standing there, holding the wood. We would try to take it, but the dog refused to let it go no matter how hard we pulled. That is what intercession is all about the Holy Spirit speaks to God through us in the “heavenly language” refusing to let go until God answers…
