Will, “you have received the Holy Spirit, and He lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. (because you know that Jesus is the way and truth and life) For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what He teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as He has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.” (1 John 2:27)
Seek the Holy Spirit anointing Will! What is the anointing? From Scripture, we find that the anointing ministry of the Holy Spirit is for the purpose of teaching and imparting spiritual power to believers. It is that work of the Holy Spirit which teaches us the truths of God so that we can better understand who He is and what He wants from us.
“Do not neglect the gift that is in you…Meditate on these…Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.” (1 Tim. 4:14-16) And then Will, “Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.” (2 Tim. 4:2)
