In the aftermath of Hamas’s massacre of October 7, it’s become mind-bogglingly obvious that no other political cause is as widespread worldwide as HATRED FOR THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL.
Concerning Israel, God said, “Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. ON THAT DAY I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH will gather against it…ON THAT DAY the LORD WILL PROTECT the inhabitants of JERUSALEM, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the LORD, going before them. And ON THAT DAY, I will seek to destroy ALL THE NATIONS THAT COME AGAINST JERUSALEM.” (Zechariah 12:2-3, 8-9) “ON THAT DAY (this is the day that God delivers Israel from all her enemies) I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel…It will be called the Valley of Hamon-Gog. For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land.” (Ezekiel 39:11-12)
Just who does Israel belong to? “But now thus says the LORD, HE WHO CREATED YOU, O Jacob, He who formed you, O ISRAEL: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, YOU ARE MINE.” (Isaiah 43:1) OK, SO WHEN WILL GOD GIVE ISRAEL UP? “Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night…the LORD of hosts is His name: “If this fixed order DEPARTS FROM BEFORE ME (if the sun, moon and stars STOP GIVING LIGHT), declares the LORD, then shall the OFFSPRING OF ISRAEL CEASE FROM BEING A NATION BEFORE ME FOREVER.” (Jeremiah 31:35-36) The next time you say you hate Israel; you are hating a people who God says belong to HIM!
Paul teaches this about his people, “…all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will banish ungodliness from Jacob…and this will be my covenant with them (Israel) WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS.” As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards ELECTION, THEY ARE BELOVED (eklogē: divine selection) for the SAKE OF THEIR FOREFATHERS (God will not destroy Israel because of the promises He made to Abraham, Issac, Jacob, etc.). For the gifts and the CALLING OF GOD ARE IRREVOCABLE (ametamelētos: immutable, irreversible, permanent). For just as you (gentiles) were at one time disobedient to God but NOW HAVE RECEIVED MERCY because of their disobedience, so they too have now been disobedient in order that by the mercy shown to you THEY ALSO MAY NOW RECEIVE MERCY.” (Romans 11:26-31)
When you speak hatred for Israel you are POKING YOUR FINGER IN GODS EYE, “For thus said the LORD of host…he who touches you (Israel) touches THE APPLE OF HIS EYE…Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I WILL DWELL IN YOUR MIDST, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And THE LORD WILL INHERIT JUDAH as His portion in the holy land and WILL AGAIN CHOOSE JERUSALEM.” (Zechariah 2:8-12)
We must obey God’s greatest commandment.
