The LORD said to Moses: “Tell Aaron, ‘Take YOUR STAFF and raise your hand over the waters of Egypt—all its rivers, canals, ponds, and all the reservoirs. Everywhere in Egypt the water will turn to blood…” (Exo. 7:19) God was showing how He empowered the staff Moses.
So now when they are backed up to the sea and Pharaoh’s large army with 600 chariots were about to overtake the Israelites. Moses said, “The LORD Himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Then the LORD said to Moses, “WHY ARE YOU CRYING OUT TO ME? PICK UP YOUR STAFF AND RAISE YOUR HAND OVER THE SEA. DIVIDE THE WATER (The Lord said “I have already given you ALL YOU NEED just use it”)…” (Exo. 14:14-16)
Jesus sent out seventy disciples and they did what Jesus instructed them to do, “Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I GIVE YOU the AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE on serpents and scorpions, and OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, and NOTHING shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:17-19)
Jesus HAS GIVEN TO US ALL WE NEED to defeat Satan, we just need to USE IT!!!
