“YOU ARE WORTHY, O LORD, To receive GLORY, HONOR and POWER; For You created ALL THINGS, And by YOUR WILL (thelēma: the purpose of God to bless mankind through Christ) they EXIST and WERE CREATED.” (Rev. 4:11)
Just WHO is responsible for the creation of all things? “In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God… ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; and without Him was not anything made that was made…the WORD (Jesus) BECAME FLESH and dwelt among us, and we BEHELD HIS GLORY, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:1,3,14)
Jesus, “…is the image of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN (Jesus) over all creation. For BY HIM ALL THINGS WERE CREATED that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” (Col. 1:15-17) “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days SPOKEN TO US by HIS SON, whom He has appointed heir of all things, BY WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE WORLDS; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the WORD OF HIS POWER, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…” (Heb. 1:1-3)
But wait doesn’t the Bible say, “Then GOD SAID, “Let there be light”; and there was light.” (Gen. 1:3) Yes, but what came out of God’s mouth? The WORD of God! You know, “In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God…the WORD (Jesus) BECAME FLESH” The form Jesus had in the beginning was the WORD of God. God LOVED us so very much “…that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him MIGHT BE SAVED.” (John 3:16-17)
