Look who it is that we are serving, we are heirs of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY and joint heirs with His CREATOR SON, “Before anything was created, Jesus WAS ALREADY THERE. It is His power that holds everything together.” (Colossians 1:17) Look who it is that said, in a very DARK and CONFUSED CHAOTIC MESS, then GOD SPOKE, “Let there be light”; and THERE WAS LIGHT. And God saw the light, that IT WAS GOOD.” (Genesis 1:3, 4)
Just think for a moment WHAT HAPPENED HERE, the bible says, “God SPOKE long ago to the fathers through the prophets. In these last days He has SPOKEN to us THROUGH HIS SON, whom He appointed heir of all things and BY WHOM HE CREATED THE UNIVERSE.” (Hebrews 1:1-2) Just to be sure, “In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were MADE BY HIM (by the Word of God), and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:1-3)
Why is Jesus referred to as the “Word of God” because when God said, “Let there be light” out of His mouth came “THE WORD” and that is who Jesus is!!! In the NKJV (1 John 5:7) says, “there are THREE that bear witness in heaven: the FATHER, the WORD, and the HOLY SPIRIT; and these three ARE ONE.” (1 John 5:7) The scripture says, “And the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of THE ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) Most bible translators leave (1 John 5:7) out because it offends their “oneness” beliefs.
SO JUST WHAT IS THE BIBLE?
- “…the word of God is LIVING and POWERFUL, and
- sharper than any two-edged sword,
- piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a
- discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)
- All Scripture is GOD–BREATHED (theopneustos: God’s breath) and is useful for
- teaching,
- rebuking,
- correcting and
- training in righteousness,
- so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV)
WHEN WE GET INVOLVED WITH THE WORD, WE ARE EXPERIENCE GOD’S POWERFUL, LIVING BREATH, BEING BREATHING INTO US.
