SEVENTY WEEKS (shâbûwaʻ: heptad, seventy weeks of years. 490 years) are determined for your people and for your holy city, To FINISH THE TRANSGRESSIONto make an END OF SINSto make RECONCILIATION FOR INIQUITYto bring in EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS, to SEAL UP vision and prophecy, And to ANOINT the Most Holy. “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, there shall be SEVEN weeks and SIXTYTWO weeks (69 weeks 483 years); The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times. “And after the SIXTYTWO weeks Messiah shall be CUT OFF (crucified), but not for Himself; And the people of THE PRINCE WHO IS TO COME (the anti-christ) Shall DESTROY the CITY (Jerusalem) and the SANCTUARY (The Temple was destroyed in 70AD).” (Daniel 9:24-26)

On March 14th 445BC King Artaxerxes gave the command to Nehemiah to go and clean out the rubble and rebuild the wall(Sir Henry Rawlinson found the documentation to support this in Persia about 1836AD.) It took 49 years to completely finish all the work done, including rebuilding the temple and it was very “troublesome times”. The 483 years predicted to finish this was 360-day, lunar months, so 360 X 483 years = 173,880 days. That brings us to April 6th 32AD. Jesus said, “Go to the village, and you will find a donkey and colt, untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.” The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, HOSANNA TO THE SON OF DAVID!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?” The crowds answered, “THIS IS JESUS, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” (Matthew 21:2-11)

This was the TRIUMPHAL ENTRY of Jesus coming into Jerusalem on Psalm Sunday A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE CRUCIFIXION, the first time Jesus was publicly proclaimed as King of Kings. A few days later this happened, “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “CRUCIFY HIM!” (Matthew 27:22) They wanted a savior who would set them free from Roman oppression Right Now…
