Why when we ask, we do not seem to receive, when we knock, the door seems to stay closed and when we seek, it does not appear that we have found anything.
Do you believe God really answers prayer? Sincerely… that God hears your personal prayers and cares enough to respond? Habakkuk experienced this problem and said to God; “LORD, how long do I have to call out for help? Why don’t you listen to me? How long must I keep telling you that things are terrible? Why don’t you save us?” (Hab. 1:2) The awesome and Almighty Lord responded to Habakkuk, “Look at the nations and watch— and BE UTTERLY AMAZED. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For THE REVELATION AWAITS AN APPOINTED TIME; it speaks OF THE END and will not prove false. THOUGH IT LINGER, WAIT FOR IT; it will certainly come and WILL NOT DELAY.” (Hab. 1:5, 2:2-3)
REMEMBER One day with the Lord is a thousand years so, if we live to be 80 years old that’s about 1.92 hours to the Lord’s day. When the Lord speaks of when things will happen it may be just a few days for Him so, we must be patient and believe. The Lord has a very precise and awesome plan all mapped out for us. The only variable is when WE DO WE ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST as our Lord and Savior and begin LIVING IN OBEDIENCE TO HIM?
