“…Jesus poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet…He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, UNLESS I WASH YOU, YOU HAVE NO PART WITH ME. (John 13:5-8)

The most important lesson we learn from this is the necessity of absolute obedience. This was GOD THE SON kneeling before Peter, to bless him and Peter thought of his dirty and unappealing feet and refused! Jesus loved Peter and desired him to surrender his all. If we want God’s blessings in our lives, we must be very humbly obedient!!!

The Lord God Almighty “…who inhabits eternity; whose name is Holy; says, I dwell in the high and holy place, even with the 1contrite and humble spirit, TO REVIVE THE SPIRIT OF THE HUMBLE, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” (Isa. 57:15) 1dakkâ’: To crush or beat something into small pieces, the feeling of regret and sorrow. We are of great importance to the Lord and He will use us in our humility and contriteness

REVIVE A HUMBLE HEART AND A CONTRITE SPIRIT IN US
