The massive Egyptian army was about to attack Israel AMY, “…Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. STAND STILL, and SEE THE SALVATION of THE LORD…the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again NO MORE FOREVER. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” (Exo. 14:13-14) The people began to cry out, God said to Moses, “…lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea and DIVIDE IT. And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” (Exo. 14:16)
Something wonderful then happened AMY, “the Angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, went behind them; and the pillar of cloud stood behind them…it was a cloud and DARKNESS to Egypt, and gave LIGHT to Israel.” (Exo. 14:19-20) Than another miracle happened, “…the people of Israel walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side!” (Exo. 14:22)
There is no specific way God does things AMY, just what works best for our salvation. Israel went across on dry ground, when Egypt tried to cross, the water broke loose and drowned them. What miracle do you need from the Lord?
