“The secret things belong to the LORD OUR GOD, but those things which are revealed belong to US and to OUR CHILDREN forever, that we may do all the words of this law.” (Deuteronomy 29:29)
- “THE SECRET THINGS BELONG TO THE LORD OUR GOD,” Like, when will the rapture will take place? “But about that day or hour NO ONE KNOWS, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but ONLY THE FATHER.” (Matthew 24:36)
- “BUT THE THINGS REVEALED…” “the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” (Isaiah 40:5) God sent His only begotten Son to pay the enormous price for the sin of the whole world, and in Isaiah chapter 40, Israel writes His beautiful, prophetic words of comfort to God’s people which would eventually be revealed in the birth, life, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
- “BELONG TO US…” “the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now REVEALED TO THE LORD’S PEOPLE. To them God has chosen to MAKE KNOWN among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:26-27)
- “…AND TO OUR CHILDREN FOREVER,” This is very important for us to do, REVEAL THE PLAN OF GOD TO OUR CHILDREN! “…you must COMMIT YOURSELVES WHOLEHEARTEDLY to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them AGAIN AND AGAIN to YOUR CHILDREN. TALK about them when you are AT HOME and when you are ON THE ROAD, when you are GOING TO BED and when you are GETTING UP. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-9) As we very well know this world is full of distractions so, WE MUST BE DILIGENT about presenting the Word to our kids.
