[Yes, the eyes of the Lord are looking all through the earth, seeing the evil and the good; and, being ever-present, all things are constantly open and naked before him.]
“I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and how you can’t bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars…Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and REPENT, AND DO THE FIRST WORKS; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, unless you repent.” (Rev. 2:2, 5)
[God still fights to win fallen man, He still loves us, still waits to be gracious to us; so, let’s take courage, start out once more, come to God through Christ; believe, love, obey, and we will soon find our days much more blessed than we have ever yet experienced!]
“From that time, Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt. 4:17)
[Please, be convinced that Jesus is the Messiah, we must let our minds be changed, and our hearts become sorry for the sins we have committed.]
“Therefore, repent, and be converted, that YOUR SINS MAY BE BLOTTED OUT, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” (Acts 3:19)
[We are the children of God, so God cannot be like those images of gold, silver, and stone, which are shaped by the art and method of man; we know that a parent will resemble his children. Knowing then, that we are living and intelligent beings, our creator must be living and intelligent.]
“Therefore, since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone–an image made by human design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, BUT NOW HE COMMANDS ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE TO REPENT.” (Acts 17:29-30)
[No matter how bad things may have become, (I was an alcoholic and drug addict when the Lord forgave me and made me His son), our gracious Heavenly Father will forgive us!!!]
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as WHITE AS SNOW; Though they are red like crimson, they will be LIKE WOOL.” (Isaiah 1:18)
