In every Christian’s life Will, there will be trials, disappointments, persecution, and temptations, but through all this we (notice I say “we”) must STAND FIRM IN CHRIST. We have to be on guard. Not only must we stand firm to these things, but we must stand firm to BIBLICAL TRUTHS. Remember when the devil tempted Jesus, challenging who He was, “After fasting forty days and forty nights, Jesus was hungry. The devil came to him and said, “IF YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on EVERY WORD that comes from the mouth of God.'” (Matt. 4:2-4) After the devils unsuccessful temptations, “…the devil left Him, and angels came and attended Him.” (Matt. 4:11)
We must continually spend time in the presence of the Lord Will. We must earnestly pray for COURAGE and BOLDNESS to do the will of God. You know, It is dangerous to drive and not pay attention to what’s in front of you. So, always give attention to the Lord who is right now in front, leading you… “…we have SUCH TRUST through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient (adequate) of ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God…Therefore, since we have such hope, we use GREAT BOLDNESS of speech…” (2 Corin. 3:4-5, 12)
“Therefore, my beloved Will, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corin. 15:58)
