“…the LORD’s DELIGHT (râtsâh: to make oneself acceptable or pleasing) is in those who FEAR (yârê’: to stand in awe of God, to be fearful of the consequences of disobeying God) Him, those who put their HOPE (yâchal: wait expectantly) in His unfailing love.” (Psalms 147:11)
Jeremiah says it like this, “I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are PLANS FOR GOOD and not for evil, to give you A FUTURE AND A HOPE. In those days WHEN YOU PRAY, I WILL LISTEN. You will find me when YOU SEEK ME, if YOU LOOK FOR ME IN EARNEST.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13) More about this wonderful hope, “May the God who gives hope fill you with GREAT JOY. May you have PERFECT PEACE as you trust in Him. May the power of the Holy Spirit FILL YOU WITH HOPE.” (Romans 15:13)
A PRAYER FOR HOPE: Lord, I maintain my hope in You and I hold onto the assurance that what I am praying for is already accomplished in THE NAME OF JESUS. Your Word promises “no good thing does He withhold from those that walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11). I wait upon You for Your definition of the “good thing” You will not withhold from me. As David prayed in (Psalm 18:1): “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
“I PRAY THAT YOUR HEARTS WILL BE FLOODED WITH LIGHT SO THAT YOU CAN SEE SOMETHING OF THE FUTURE HE HAS CALLED YOU TO SHARE. I WANT YOU TO REALIZE THAT GOD HAS BEEN MADE RICH BECAUSE WE WHO ARE CHRIST’S HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO HIM!” (Ephesians 1:18)
